What to wear on the Xmas day?

2012 has almost come to an end! You people notice?
I love December, it's a very joyful month, filled with festive atmosphere. I'm super excited for everything,Christmas... New Year Eve..( okay, except for the predicted dooms day). I seriously hope whatever prediction about the Mayan Doomsday is just a purely joke and it is not gonna come true, I have too many things I wanna do still. Same goes to you guys right? So yea, let's just hope for the best.
okay, back to the excited talk about the Christmas day. How excited am I? I already ordered my Christmas day outfit since October, even though I have no X'mas plan yet. HAH...

What to wear on the Christmas day/ Eve?
We should choose something which is classy and attention-grabbing for the Christmas celebration. For example: purple color, silver gold, colorful sequins and glittery details and of course RED!
To me, Christmas is just like Chinese New Year. You will never go wrong with red color ;)
Why do I prepare it so early?
Firstly, too excited. Secondly, the earlier you prepare your Xmas outfits, the chances for you to have the same outfits with others is way lower, because I supposed most of us like to do last minute shopping, for Chinese new year, for prom and so on. So yea, to avoid the awkward situation, you should get your Xmas outfit 1 or 2 months in advance.

Here are some recommendations for Xmas day outfits!

dress A

dress B

.

dress C

Dress A,B,C are 3 picks from Phatculture. The price range is rather affordable

Dress A: red velvet color, a very simple yet classy dress. You can consider this dress if you are gonna have buffet dinner on Xmas because it's not too tight for you to stuff good food!

Dress B: a bond girl Severine inspired dress. You will just need to put it on with smokey eyes and dark red lips and you'll look drop dead sexy on your xmas.

Dress C: if you are going to attend some wild xmas party, why not this? you can definitely stand out from the crowd. Match it with a pair of sky high heels and keep it simple. That's enough to... VA VA VOOM~

If you prefer simple and sweet looking dresses for a Xmas dinner date, you should try Dressabelle. Ample of choices over there.

Collars have been trending for quite some time now, and it's still the favorite among the girls, I supposed.

Leather dress for Xmas, anyone? :) a very cool and sophisticated look. Maroon leather dress!

Studs, prints, pastel dresses. All you can get it from Style by Juliet!
Black dress with silver studs. also avaiable in Burgundt with gold studs. easy to carry.
lace with grace. Pastel Mint green !

This dress is so Kim Kardashian. Agree? a dress to show what you have!

If you are not a ''dress person'' like me, probably you can go for leggings, bodycon skirt. Feel free to view Michelle Phan's video for modest dressing idea for your Xmas :))

So so many gorgeous piece available out there, so there's no more excuse for you not to dress up on the Christmas day.
let's indulge in this stunning festive season. :)

a night with Bulgogi Brothers

Haloo all :)
I'm back. For those who saw the latest photo I posted on fb will know that I just celebrated Mr.Loke's Birthday few days back.

We went to this Korean Restaurant located at Paradigm Mall named Bulgogi Brothers for our dinner .
It was a belated birthday dinner for 2 birthday boys, Mr.loke and Lin Chin aka Mr.pilot.
FYI, I am a big fan of Korean Cuisine. and Japanese, and.. TOM YUM and.. (the list goes on and on). I love eating good food. Oh well, who doesn't???
Good food doesn't mean expensive food. Good food simply means tasty and stunning food or whatever makes me happy. Nasi Lemak from the roadside could be a good food too.
So, these are what we had :
Korean side dishes
The Korean Appetizer was fine. I am totally in love with the mashed pumpkin scoop. I swear, it is really scrumptious. love the cold and smooth texture, with a little crunchy pumpkin bits in it.

Kimchi Jjigae
Unlike the Kimchi Soup from Daorae, this Kimchi Jjigae is much thicker than usual and is rather authentic. A very warm and hearty dish. Besides, I didn't expect the beef slice to be so tender which literally melted in my mouth? I think. *exaggerating*

Soju Chum-curum
Soju, errr... I took a tiny sip, we think it tasted like Vodka. 4 of them ended up didn't get to finish this small bottle of Soju. This brand is one of the favourite Soju brand in Korea (according to the menu info), but too bad.. not for me.
Haemul Bibimbab

This is what I ordered. It Tastes really bland itself, but it tasted much better with the Korean chili paste.
Haemul Gungjung Mandu
The above is the Golden brown Korean dumplings served with mussels, shrimps, squids.
I prefer Japanese dumplings (gyoza) more.

Haemul Pajeon
This is the worst of all. tasteless and glutinous piece of flour.
It doesn't taste as good as it looks. Don't be deceived by its presentation :/
Dak Galbi Bulgogi
After having so many dishes, this is our last dish. We were all already so full at that time, especially me, but still I had a few pieces of those. This dish is not suitable for those who can't take spicy food at all because it is really spicy, I donno why.

Overall, the food is quite satisfactory (except for the Korean pancake), the service was not so good but the waiter served us a complimentary plum tea after we finished our meal, so this actually add points a little.
The plum tea is really nice, and I finished it up for Mr.loke. HAH... (maybe I was just too thirsty)

Last but not least, a group photo of Mr.Loke with his close friends since high school. Nice meeting you guys :))

took few pictures but all is blurry. This is the best I have with me. but still better than nothing.
